These kits provide the basic essentials you and your family need in order to survive a disaster. They contain enough food and water to keep you alive for 72 hours, which will give rescue crews more time to find you.
Typically our more expensive kits are made for bigger families. They all provide you with the basic essentials you need but bigger families need more supplies such as food and water in order to survive.
The amount of time it takes to arrive depends on where you live and how far it is from our facility.
Our kits typically include: a flashlight, first aid supplies, food & water, a fire exstiguisher, a blanket and more. Some kits provide additional supplies depending on the circumstance.
Items in an emergency kit should be routinely checked and restocked every 4 years in order to insure quality and reliability.
Your emergency kit should ideally be stored in a dry place that is not subject to weathering or drastic temperature change. Make sure that the kit is somewhere easily accessable in case of a disaster.
In the case of severe weather for an extended period of time the first thing you should do is find a safe place to stay indoors. If possible, get underground but if not, get to the lowest floor.
